Cold, windy and dark. This is how the reception can be on the top of the Roraima plateau.

The rock in the shape of a chicken in the end of the afternoon.

The smallest frog in the world.

Dali’s visions in stone.
Above the clouds in a beautiful day.

Crystals grow in the ground.

A panoramic view of Roraima and the feeling of superation after 7 days.
Many reasons can convince you to travel to Roraima Mountain localized at the board of Brazil with Venezuela and Guyana. Some look for an isolated place to have some peace, others to know rocks formations of more than 2 billions years old and some – like me, go for the magic that it seems to have. Roraima is considered holy by the indians because they belive that this is where their god Makunaíma lives and rests.
Since I was a child I wanted to go to the top of this plateau. I always gave up of the idea because I heard that the access is difficult and that it takes many days to explore it. But I would say that bravery is more important. All the rest is rest.
