Some of the men’s collections for the fall 2009/2010 seen in Milan and Paris in january suggested the return of a classic which was a bit forgotten: the dufflecoat.

Your main characteristic is a hook and ropes to close instead of buttons. Tradicionally used to the british marine, the dufflecoat was made of heavy wool, providing a good protection from the winds.  In this season, it appeared in the catwalks of Paul Smith, Trovata and Junya Watanabe.
