Are you ready for the Spring-Summer 2013?

From this week Friday (15.06) until mid July, The Gentleman website will be covering three major fashion events in Europe: London Collection:Men, Pitti Uomo in Florence and Berlin Fashion Week. We will be reporting about the most interesting trends in men’s fashion and lifestyle for the spring-summer 2013, so please make sure to follow us!

 First stop: London

As we anticipated, we will start our coverage with London Collections: Men (15th – 17th of June), a new fashion week just for menswear in London. We will have an eye not only on what big brands will present, but also on what young and new designers are creating. And by the way, what an ideal moment to visit that city: the event happens few days after the Queen’s Jubilee and few weeks before the Olympics Games. So optimism is in the air.

Second stop: Florence

Then the next stop will be Florence where The Gentleman website was kindly invited by Pitti Uomo fair organization to attend their event! Pitti Uomo (19th – 22nd of June) has a long tradition in the menswear industry by concentrating the best brands and designers in a trade show format. This season there will be more than one thousand brands showing their new collections at the Fortezza da Basso. It is also there where you can see some of the most well dressed men in Europe – if not in the world! – so expect beautiful street style pictures.

Other highlight of Pitti Uomo this season will be a huge exhibition in celebration of the 30 years of the brand Stone Island. The exhibition promises to offer a fascinating look at the brand which, with Carlo Rivetti at the helm, has always been totally dedicated to textile research and experimentation. Some of the invited designer guests of the event this edition are Peter Pilotto, Carven and Valentino. They will show their collections in those amazing buildings and gardens of Florence. How could we miss that?

Final stop: Berlin

And to close our marathon The Gentleman comes back to its home city in Germany to report about the Berlin Fashion Week (4th – 7th of July). The event, that just grows every season, is in a great moment with many young designers full of energy and creativity. We are ready to attend not only the shows but to also be all over the city and to report it in detail for you, as usual. Actually it will not be difficult: there is no such a thing like a summer in Berlin!

Stay tuned!
