With a few exceptions, men’s fashion magazines always look similar and talk about the same things. But this month I was surprised with the “Esquire” Big Black Book issue. With the proposition to be a guide for the summer the magazine has a delicious humor and precious advices for men.
In the “Etiquette” chapter for example there’s a manual of how to behave when hitching a ride in someone’s private jet. When invited to join a trip they recommend: “be gracious, say ‘thank you’ and ‘I`d love to’, then ask with whom you should discuss details with”. As the “Jetiquette” completes: “People who own planes don’t concern themselves with logistics – they’ve got assistants for that”.
In the same issue they also have short passages where they teach which are the best barbecue for your guests, how to pack a cooler and how to whiten your shoes. A must have.
